Kimmy's Kloset - About Kimmy

A Southern Belle from Montgomery Alabama, Kimmy Sanders relocated to Seattle in 1995. She has BA in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Huntingdon College. She has also completed one year of a MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Montevallo and one year of a MM in Theatre Performance from Central Washington University.

Kimmy has been entertaining and teaching music and theatre to children and adults of all ages in the Seattle area and Western Washington since 1995. You can also find her performing on stage in the local theatres, singing at local jazz clubs with her trio and entertaining children and adults at a wide variety of social events!

Kimmy spent six years as a theatre / musical theatre and choral director at the Jr. High and High School level in the Northshore School District. She has played the "role" of musical director with several theatres and also choreographs for local theater and choral performance groups. Kimmy has also taught and directed K-8 general music, theater, musical theatre and choir in and around Seattle and Western Washington.

Kimmy enjoys encouraging children and adults to explore their imaginations and creativity, thus bringing a multitude of smiles and laughter! Making people comfortable in social settings and filling the room with laughter has always been one of Kimmy's attributes. Her high energy and bubbly personality is one that can charm any crowd; babies, young children, teens and adults! Kimmy enjoys helping people feel special and leading the party-goers to a great time!

With her teaching experience and experience she has gained from performing in theatre and music from age 10, she has learned to adapt her personality and wits to engage people in a multitude of silliness and playfulness!
